Many of us are experiencing feelings about current events such as the climate crisis and the political climate: Shock, disbelief, anger, confusion, deep sadness, and more. These feelings are well-known to be associated with grief. One perspective on our situation is that we are experiencing a collective grieving process. Though each person experiences grief in a unique way, it can be helpful to share such feelings in community. How do we bring gentle presence to these strong and unpleasant emotions? How do we maintain our sanity and well-being? Join us as we create a safe, supportive space to explore these feelings and questions. This seven week closed group will combine mindfulness and narrative therapy approaches with eco-psychology and grief theories as well as group process, and bibliotherapy.
