Donna Littlefield

My love of music began with seeds from my parents' music collection - most notably, Marty Robbins, Bill Haley and the Comets and Elvis and then grew into an eclectic array of musical interests. Attempts to play music led to cutting a piano album (along with 100 other students and 50 pianos - playing in unison) as well as being requested to step out of the 5th grade choir (tone deaf) and play accompaniment instead of singing along.

My limited skills did not dissuade me from the pursuit of encountering as much depth and breadth of live performance immersion as I could possibly muster - eventually settling on the Dead as the preferred experience for many years. Have served as a dj at KVNF for much longer than I can quite believe and while, at times over the last fifteen years, I barely hung on by the ends of my chewed off fingernails - while solo parenting my amazing and beautiful daughter Cara - I am grateful to continue to create shows and bring music to the airwaves.
