Heather Newton

My back ground is in Veterinary medicine. I worked as veterinary technician for 16 years. I don't have any formal broadcasting education, but I come from a family who was very musically inclined. My mother trained and studied Opera in Europe. My Grand mother taught piano and my oldest brother is a guitarist.
 
I have always loved music and as long as I can remember, wanted to be a DJ. I moved to Colorado in 2011 and live in Cedaredge with my boyfriend, Charlie and our pets  I enjoy my world music show Global Express, and you can catch me the first Wednesday PM of the month from 7:00 to 9:30.
