Calling All KVNF Volunteers!

KVNF has a new online method for signing up for volunteer activities, and you're going to love it.

Volunteer opportunities are organized on the "Sign Up Genius" website as 3 separate signups, that correlate with the 3 different events happening this summer; the summer concert series, Cherry Days CD/Record sale, and the BMW Rally.

Below is a description of each signup and a link to that particular sign up. Check the “sign up” box next to the shift that you’d like to sign up for. The system allows you to sign up for multiple shifts within that particular sign up at once. However, if you’d like to sign up for shifts for different events, you’ll have to sign up multiple times, within each event. You do not have to create an account, but it’s a good idea because the system will send you out a reminder email 2 days prior to your scheduled shift.

1. Summer Concert: Every Thursday from now until the end of August. You can sign up to volunteer at any of the concerts in Ouray (June), Ridgway (July), or Paonia (August) at the Summer Concert link.

2. Cherry Days: KVNF will hold a CD/Record sale at Cherry Days, July 4th and 5th in Paonia Town Park. If you’d like to sign up to help at this event, please click the Cherry Days link.

3. BMW Rally: KVNF will be providing beer and wine for BMW Rally participants, July 17th-19th. We need A LOT of volunteers to pull off this event, which is a large fundraiser for the station. There are several different types of jobs available for this event (sales, dispensation, and crowd liaison). All shifts are 4 hours long. To sign up to volunteer at the BMW Rally, click the BMW Rally link.

If you have any questions at all while signing up, give us a call at 970-527-4868. Please visit the links today and sign up for what you can. The earlier the better.

Thank you for taking the time to consider how you can volunteer with KVNF this summer. Your participation is key to KVNF’s success during the summer events. Thank you.
