John, with his Cockney accent and rough humor, is a camouflaged, guerilla healer.
While living at the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland, I was very ill and unable to regain my health. I spent a week with a friend of the community, a rough-hewn man in his early 70's who talked in London Cockney-slang rhymes. Over the week, through our long evening chats, I discovered he had become an adept healer under the tutelage of a fellow Shell Oil executive. John taught me that some of the greatest healers are well camouflaged, hidden by the ordinariness of their lives and their rough exteriors. I recognized John as a healer of the highest order.
