During the Reporting Period, no full time positions were filled. The information required by
FCC Rule 73.2080(c)(6) is provided in the charts that follow.
 
INITIATIVES
The employment unit engaged in the following broad outreach initiatives in accordance with
various elements of FCC Rule 73.2080(c)(2):

Established an internship program  designed to assist members of the  community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment.12/30/2011 started an intern program in our Development Department with Colorado Mesa University student, Amber McDaniel.
Established training programsdesigned to enable station personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them for higher level positions.Three station personnel [Development Assistant, Morning News Host,and Web Technician] participated in a Leadership effectiveness Training so that they would gain skills for meeting facilitation.
Established a mentoring program for station personnel.Started a mentorship program with a nationally knownjournalist and our News Director.
Provided training to management level personnel on methods of ensuring equal employment opportunity and prevent discrimination.

4/4/2012 – Executive Director attended NAB webinar on “FCC EEO Updates: How to Prepare and Stay Compliant.”
