Where to Drop Off Your Ballots

Election Day is tomorrow, November 5th, and this is the first year Colorado has used all mail-in ballots for statewide elections. 

But ballots mailed in today might not make it to county elections offices on time to be counted. The Secretary of State's Office is urging voters to consider dropping off their ballots at local drop-off locations in order to avoid missing the deadline.

Drought Prompts Study of Gold Medal Fishery near Basalt

Colorado Parks and Wildlife staff and volunteers "shock" fish every other year on the Fryingpan. The electrical current attracts the fish so the group can catch and count them.

This Fall, a local river conservation group is keeping a close eye on the Fryingpan River. This follows last year's drought that brought the levels on the river down.

Local Motion: North Fork Air Quality Study

Today on Local Motion we talk with three of the people involved with the North Fork Air Quality Study, a year-long project put together by CU-Boulder, the Western Slope Conservation Center and the Delta County School District. 

The project will use low-cost, portable and permanent monitoring devices to get baseline measurements of air quality in the North Fork Valley.
