Brian Cambria

A former member of the KVNF board of directors, Brian can be heard delivering the KVNF local newscast each weekday morning. Brian has lived on the Western Slope for ten years, and in the West for almost forty. His other work in transportation, events and tours takes him away occasionally, but affords him the opportunity to return with a fresh perspective from other western communities. State's Economy Better Than Expected

State economists were in an optimistic mood yesterday, saying Colorado’s economy is performing better than the rest of the nation. As a result, lawmakers will also have more money to spend in next year’s budget than originally anticipated. Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.

On Friday, President Barack Obama told ABC news that he won’t make it a top priority to go after Colorado and Washington State for legalizing marijuana. But as statehouse reporter Bente Birkeland reports, the announcement still leaves many unanswered questions in Colorado.
