Spotting the Flock

Have you spotted the flock yet?

They’ve been incredibly busy, but they don’t mind much.  After all they ARE activists!

When asked about their first week in Paonia, Head Flamingo Franny stated, “We were a bit nervous when we saw all the snow in Paonia. But we learned how to create snowballs and an epic flamingo snowball fight (which lasted for hours) quickly ensued.”

I’m pleased to report that the birds are holding up quite well with the frigid temperatures and are quite enjoying their time here in beautiful Paonia, Colorado.

They helped two community members celebrate their birthdays this past week. The gift was truly unique and both birthday boys were very surprised to be flocked on their big days!

One day the Flocking Squad showed up to move the flock and were surprised to find a $100 donation for KVNF! Thanks for feeding the flock!

Here are some photos from their recent flockings.

Keep your eyes peeled for these mischievous birds as they continue to flock Paonia yards with their message of joy and support for KVNF Community Radio. Check back next week for another edition of “The Flocking Files”.

Cheers,

The Flocking Coordinator
